The deadline to submit full papers for the third annual Reconfigurable Systems Summer Institute (RSSI’07) has been extended to May 14. The best papers presented at RSSI’07 will be considered for inclusion in a special issue of the journal Parallel Computing.
RSSI’07 will be held July 18-20 in Urbana, Illinois, bringing together scientists and technology developers from academia and industry to discuss new research on the use of field-programmable gate array technologies for high-performance reconfigurable computing (HPRC).
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
• Architecture of HPRC devices and systems
• Languages, compilation techniques, and tools for HPRC
• Libraries and run-time environments for HPRC
• Performance modeling/prediction and benchmarks for HPRC
• Algorithms, methodology, and best practices in application development for HPRC
• Applications of HPRC in science and engineering
• Trends and the latest developments in HPRC
Submissions should be sent to rssi@ncsa.uiuc.edu by May 14. Detailed paper formatting instructions are available at rssi.ncsa.uiuc.edu/submissions.html.
Accepted full-length papers (up to 10 pages) will be presented during the technical program; short papers (up to 2 pages) will be presented during the poster session.
RSSI’07 is organized by the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), OpenFPGA, and the University of Manchester. Corporate sponsors include: Altera, AMD, Cray, Mitrionics, Nallatech, SGI, SRC, and Xilinx.
