QUEBEC CITY, Jan. 11 – Lyrtech Inc. (TSX Venture Exchange: LYT), a worldwide leader in digital signal processing (DSP) technologies, announced today that, over the last two months, it was awarded several new contracts by existing and new customers, including key business partners. These contracts are to provide new product designs and manufacturing services. Overall, the new contracts are valued at more than $2 million and are to be delivered during the first half of fiscal year 2006.

The new contracts announced today by Lyrtech include projects with Defence Research and Development Canada, ITT, Northrop Grumman, LSI, NTT DoCoMo, and Texas Instruments.
As of December 31, 2005, the backlog of orders deliverable during fiscal year 2006 stands at $7.4 million, compared to $5.2 million at the same date last year.
